My Story
Hey there! I’m Shane, and I’ve spent last few years exploring every corner of HR. From hiring and onboarding to performance reviews, employee engagement, HR tech and analytics. I’ve been hands-on with the full employee lifecycle. Whether it’s streamlining processes, leading recruitment teams or decoding dashboards, I love making HR work smarter and more human.
Until recently, all those lessons, stories and insights stayed locked in my head (or in very long email threads). But I’ve finally decided to do something about it. This blog is my fresh start a place where I’ve just begun writing and reflecting on the people-side of business. It’s new, it’s honest and it’s something I’m incredibly excited about.
My HR journey began with a PGDM degree and it’s now evolving through an executive program at IIM Indore. I’ve worked with high-growth startups and large teams from managing bulk hiring and policy rollouts, to supporting global recruiting strategies at, and now leading a fantastic team as an HR Manager. Whether it’s saving costs through vendor negotiations or launching skills development programs, I’ve learned to blend strategic thinking with people-first leadership.
But more than the job titles and tools, what drives me is the belief that work should be more human and HR should lead that charge.
So here I am - just starting out as a blogger / writer, but bringing a ton of experience, stories and practical know-how with me. My hope? That this blog helps you make better hiring decisions, lead with empathy and build workplaces where people actually want to show up (on Mondays too!).
