🔧 How to Use the Boolean Search String Generator

 

This tool helps recruiters and sourcer's build powerful Boolean search strings to find the right candidates on platforms like LinkedIn.

📝 Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Enter the Job Title

    • Start typing a role like “Data Analyst” or “Frontend Developer.”

    • A dropdown will appear—click on the matching title to automatically load the default skill sets.

  2. Review & Customize Skills

    • Must Have Skills: These are essential skills the candidate should possess.

    • Can Have Skills: Nice-to-have or optional skills.

    • Must NOT Have Skills: Add any skills you want to exclude from the search.

    • Simply press Enter after typing each skill, or remove any tag using the ❌ icon.

  3. Specify Location & Employer

    • Optionally, add preferred locations and current employer to refine your search further.

  4. Generate Boolean Search

    • Click the 🚀 Generate Boolean Search String button.

    • Your Boolean string will appear below the button, ready to use.

  5. Copy & Use

    • Click 📋 Copy to copy the generated string.

    • Paste it into LinkedIn, Google, or any sourcing platform's search bar.
